Band Reflects on 20 Years of the Album

Guitarist Brett Burchell shared that the band did not fully realize the impact the self-titled album would eventually have when it was originally created.

He explained that revisiting the material two decades later has given the band a renewed sense of appreciation and excitement, especially after hearing stories from fans who connected deeply with the record over the years.

Burchell also noted that the songs now carry a different emotional weight after living with them for twenty years and said the band feels stronger than ever heading into the anniversary shows.

Bassist Cove Reber also reflected on the album’s legacy, saying the self-titled release defined a major chapter of both his life and the lives of many longtime fans who grew up alongside the band during that era.

New Music Arrives Ahead of the Tour

The anniversary tour announcement follows the recent release of Starting Over Again, Saosin’s first new single in five years.

The heavy new track arrived shortly after the band began teasing its upcoming fourth studio album.
