  • Seattle
  • Chicago
  • Atlanta
  • Philadelphia

Band Members React to the Expanded Tour

Guitarist Neal Schon said the energy from fans throughout the current tour has been incredible every night, adding that hearing audiences sing along to Journey’s classic songs continues to feel powerful after all these years.

Keyboardist Jonathan Cain also shared appreciation for longtime fans, saying the songs continue connecting with people across multiple generations.

Meanwhile, singer Arnel Pineda described each concert as a celebration and expressed excitement about bringing the farewell experience to even more cities this fall.

Farewell Tour Followed Earlier Band Rumors

Journey’s farewell tour announcement initially sparked discussion among fans after confusion surfaced regarding Jonathan Cain’s status in the band.

Earlier rumors suggested Cain may have exited Journey following comments made online by Neal Schon, but it was later clarified that Cain would remain part of the group through the conclusion of the farewell tour.

The band members had also previously resolved a long-running legal dispute involving Journey’s business finances before launching the current tour cycle.
